The Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Invention Promotion Association on May 18 (Mon.) to cooperate in promoting the value of Dokdo and utilizing intellectual property (IP)-based content.

This agreement was established to expand accurate historical awareness of Dokdo and create a creative educational foundation for future generations by leveraging the expertise and infrastructure of both organizations.

The two organizations plan to cooperate in various areas, including the exchange of educational and exhibition content and the development of joint programs to promote the value of Dokdo and invention culture. In addition, they will strengthen cooperation through joint promotional activities for events and educational programs, as well as exchanges of human and material resources.

Both organizations were recently recognized for transparent and responsible management as recipients of the “2025 Outstanding Public Institution Disclosure Award.” Building on this agreement, they plan to further expand collaboration among public institutions and promote social value.

Jeong Yong-sang, Secretary General of the Foundation, stated, “This agreement is meaningful in that it goes beyond simple institutional exchange to expand proper awareness of our history and Dokdo, while also laying the groundwork for new educational cooperation for future generations.”
