Dokdo Guardian School’s Visit to Dokdo in 2019

The Foundation hosted a program that allowed 140 teachers and students from the 2019 Dokdo Guardian Schools to visit Dokdo and Ulleungdo in two groups. The first group visited from May 18-21 and the second group visited from May 25-28. A total of 120 schools – 35 elementary schools, 45 middle schools, and 40 high schools – have been selected as the 2019 Dokdo Guardian Schools as part of efforts to support education and experience activities surrounding Dokdo for the sake of the country’s future generations. Each of the Dokdo Guardian Schools hosted an opening ceremony during Dokdo Education Week in April to mark the start of their Dokdo club activities.
