President Kim Yong-deok of the Northeast Asian History Foundation paid a courtesy visit to President Alf Zimmer of the University of Regensburg, Germany. The two discussed possible ways to invigorate exchange and cooperation between the two institutions. Mr. Alf Zimmer revealed a glowing enthusiasm for such matters as the joint hosting of academic events and exchanges of researchers amid the higher interest in East Asian affairs.
